My wife and I just bought this with the dual upgraded weight stack (200 lbs per wieght stack). I have never been more impressed with a piece of workout equipment, ever.

At first, I was a little skeptical. I mean, how could a couple of pullies replace a heavy duty rack or a top-of the-line multigym.

But this gym is the real deal and can do it all and more. I can do barbell exercises, DB exercises, pully exercises, really any traditional exercise and literally hundreds of a variety of additional "functional" exercises. With the upgraded stacks, this thing gives you more wieght than you would need. You can even do assisted pull-ups.

I am a former college athlete and used to take up a whole basement worth of equipment. Since buying the V6, I have sold a bunch of my equipment. I even sold my squat rack, my bench rack, and all my olympic plates. The only thing I have now is the V6, the V6 adjustable position bench (with preacher curl and leg curl attachments), a set of adjustable weight DBs (which really are not needed if you have this machine), a freemotion (incline/eliptical) cardio trainer, a jump rope, and a swiss ball. I guess I also have a speed bag and a punching bag in the garage, but these are far from needed.

Things I loved:

1) Versatility: If you also buy the adjustable bench, this thing can do ANYTHING. Any exercise that can be done with a barbell, a curl bar, or dumbells can be replicated by this machine. The machine also allows for literally hundreds (if not thousands) of "functional" type exercises. There are 36 different height positions on both arms of this machine.

2) Smooth Pullies: Smooth as butter. When using the barbell attachment, feels exactly like barbell freeweights. When using the adjutable length handles, feels exactly like dumbells.

3) Ease and design: I can switch exercises four times faster than I could using traditional freeweights or other home multigyms.

4) Stability: This is a commercial quality piece of equipment with a liftime warranty to back it up. Each arm is supported by a steel pulley track and a 3inch diameter industrial strength steel pole.

5) Small Space: It is a little tall at 83 or 85 inches (don't remember which it is), but the footprint is only 42 x 55 -- i.e., about half the size of other home gyms!

6) Upgradability: While not a big selling point for most people, the weight stacks on this machine can be upgraded.

7) Bench: The additional bench is the most stable adjustable bench I have ever used. Also goes to 6 positions from incline to decline. Bench also has a high-quality leg curl/leg press attachment and/or an attachment that is perfect for cable preacher curls.

8) Accessories: Really great and versitle accessories. Really high quality that allow you to do even more exercises.

Really, get this with the bench and a cardio machine and for commercial quality training within the space of a quarter of a room. I thought I had seen and used the best of all home gym equipment (including Life Fitness, Titan, Inspire, Bowflex, and other types of multigyms), but this one is the ultimate.
